Elliot Szabo ![]() Las Vegas singer, songwriter, and all-out acoustic rocker Elliot Szabo (www.elliotszabo.com) engages his audience with a mixture of relatable lyrics and infectious grooves, delivering an upbeat set of crowd-pleasing tunes and styles similar to those of Eric Hutchinson, Matt Nathanson and Duncan Sheik. Szabo had performed as a solo artist and in various groups throughout the Midwest before making the move to the Entertainment Capital of the World. Szabo joined up with drummer Kenny Byrne, bassist Gary Coveny and keyboardist / guitarist Andy Vieluf and the foursome have been writing, recording and playing shows throughout the Southwest since 2007. He and his band mates have a true love of performing, which shines through on stage during each show. Born and raised in Indiana, Szabo cites the rock classics of the 60’s and 70’s such as Cat Stevens and Jethro Tull as his musical influences. Throughout his youth, Szabo’s father played guitar, which inspired Elliot to do the same. He painstakingly studied the songbooks of such iconic performers as Neil Diamond, George Harrison, and Paul Simon, and soon father and son would spend many a day jamming together. "My music is inspired by a variety of personal experiences and stories throughout my life," says Szabo. William Michael Dillon ![]() In those earlier performances, Dillon was one of them, and yet he wasn't. He'd been convicted of murder without having committed the crime. He made this point from behind bars repeatedly. For years. "I'm ready to get it on, no doubt," said Dillon, 51, who at 6-foot-4 resembles a strapping, more chiseled version of the late comedian Phil Hartman. He wore a black T-shirt with the words "NOT GUILTY" emblazoned on the front. "I mean, I've done this in front of hundreds of 'hardheads.' If you can put on a show for them guys and they cheer for you, then you can make it happen." Gina Carey ![]() Gina celebrates her fifth release with 10 new songs that put you back in the old school sounds of the early 80’s era. This CD includes 4 soulful mid tempo love ballads "Loving You", "Share My Life", "Don’t ever Let Me Go" and "Unbelievable", 2 the fun, funky soulful up tempo tracks "Red Hat" and the old school up tempo disco jam "Without you" and 4 inspirational songs "I Care" ,Life Is More "Don’t You Give Up", and "A Change" a powerful song about the worlds crises and the hope for the future. After being in hiatus for almost four years, Gina’s husband was the inspiration behind this phenomenal project. "I wasn’t planning on recording anytime soon. I think I was becoming comfortable with just being a wife and singing backgrounds on my husband’s new CD "New Beginnings", but my husband continued to encourage me to not give up on my passion to sing. So "Melodic" was born through that experience.”With a new love and a fresh perspective, John & Gina were able to create a masterpiece. Gina was born on October 17 in Chicago, Illinois and spent her formative years growing up in Los Angeles, CA. She now resides in Palm Springs, CA. ![]() Try Imperial Russian Stout! Her classically-honed piano interlaces with emotive singing, confiding moments of loss, nostalgia, and uprooting. The themes of social disconnection and the search for a center stem from asia’s experiences of a cross-cultural upbringing. Born in a small Russian town, she grew up in the turbulent 90s in Jerusalem, Israel, experienced the 9/11 American trauma as a student at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, dealt with the economic collapse as a New York City resident and finally followed her husband and fellow musician, Andres Wilson, to his grad school studies to Northampton, MA. asia’s ability to effortlessly blend genres and inspirations sets her sound apart from the clutter. She seamlessly combines expressive piano, rock guitar, jazz crooning and raw blues in one catchy, melancholic and distinctive sound. For the sake of categorizing, asia often describes her sound as "moody piano rock" and recommends her music to fans of Muse, Antony and the Johnsons, Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, Regina Spektor, Radiohead and Coldplay.
