Laura Ainsworth ![]() Laura’s shows have drawn appreciative audiences and rave reviews. BroadwayWorld.com raved that her show "Cole Porter: Elegance & Decadence," was "magnificent entertainment" and described her as both "a fine singer with an outstanding range and genuine wit" and "a vivid personality with a wonderful stage presence." No wonder some of the top jazz and supper club musicians in the Southwest have eagerly teamed with her, including recording artist Michael Gott and pianist and Sammons Center for the Arts' "2011 Dallas Jazz Musician of the Year," Brian Piper. Piper's modern jazz group, the Brian Piper Trio, were recent spotlight artists at the Newport Jazz Fest Beach Party. They make up the core band for Laura's debut album: the sexy, sultry, swinging and, in spots, sublimely silly "Keep It To Yourself" (Eclectus Records, available at CDBaby.com and iTunes), which was also produced and arranged by Piper. Special guests include violinist Milo Deering of the hot bluegrass/jazz fusion group Beatlegras and guitarist Chris Derose, a favorite accompanist of Willie Nelson, Patti Austin and Michael Feinstein. Yolanda Rabun

Yolanda Rabun's first single, So Real, from the upcoming So Real project is her original work and is a glimpse of the phrasing and style she has become known for in the jazz world. Mark Shine
![]() Misz Aka The Groove Producer ![]() The single; 'Weekend Getaway' is a feel good, sensuous, contemporary jazz guitar song for contemporary jazz, smooth jazz and groove jazz guitar lovers worldwide to enjoy. Daniel Glen Timms ![]() With his newest record, "Life's An Illusion", you can hear an artist that has arrived at a place of mastery of his instrument, the studio and the song. The heartbreaks, regressions, reflections and redemption of this American songwriter are not lost in the commercial sensibilities of the new album that is old school in its sound but timeless in its feeling. Life's An Illusion is a 10-song album by an artist nurtured in the sounds of the 70's, yet like any pure music, rings with truth and clarity of the present. Daniel Glen Timms is a poster child of the independent artist movement, who has never given up on his dream and taught himself how to produce his own records, design his own albums and release his music on his own label, while expanding his audience throughout the world. The deep, rich and human experiences this independent artist has undoubtedly absorbed by working in these areas, has brought a unique perspective to this American-born singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer. These stories and insights seem to ooze from his material, which vibrates with a high level of musicianship, poetic lyrics and accomplished tonal qualities. If you dig down to the roots of this artist, the lyrics and emotions seem to come alive with authenticity. Lee Hayes ![]() I am an Original and Honest Singer Songwriter in the classic sense, think Paul Simon/Bowie/Lennon ect... After being born I was educated (processed) in Birmingham England which is roughly in the middle of England. Enough of that kinda stuff, I’m a wordy person always somewhere else, not quite with it, whatever ‘it’ is, thinking about meanings to songs, especially little throw away lines. I can’t stand this Cowell driven vacuum that exists at the moment, don’t believe ‘bankers’, ‘politicians’ and especially ‘Newsreaders’. I like writing songs that have interesting guitar parts, I feel the words need to flow with the guitar part and have nice hidden meanings (especially the ones I don’t know myself) I still have ten fingers and toes which are the product of 3.5 billion years of evolution, I walk upright and like the rest of humanity often speak before I think but at least I don’t go around killing others after which sets me apart from lower forms of life. So to conclude I wish you peace and happiness and I hope you get away with anything that don’t harm no-one and brings you pleasure. Derik LaRon ![]() "Derik Laron can sing, although he uses AutoTune to compete with others in his genre, he's not the type of artist that needs it because he can actually sing. Those who like Usher, Ne-Yo, and Chris Brown would really like Derik's new project, "Crash Radio", which contains several potential Top 40 hits on it. For example, "Change Their Mind" is a great song that has a lot of major commercial radio appeal. The music is brilliantly produced and the hook is very catchy; it reminds me of something Usher or Michael Jackson would do. Another cool song is "Make A Wish". On this one, Derik delivers a Trey Songz feel that really places him among some of today's R&B elite. At times on the song you will forget you're listening to an unsigned artist. Other notable songs by Derik Laron include "Knight In Shining Armor", "Magazine", and "Never Change". Either of these songs could be a break out hit on any urban or Top 40 radio station. Anna Zoe ![]() Anna Zoe is originally from Erie, Pennsylvania and has been singing since she began to speak. Her parents urged her to participate with them in the church choir, and put her in piano lessons for 6 years, which led to performing in school choirs and musical theatre. This part of her life created that focus and hunger that made her work even harder. That wasn’t her only outlet though. In her mind, she always thought of herself as being an athlete, because it was more of a realistic goal in relation to her hometown. However, the music truly became a focus in her life as a few special people who saw that inner spark, urged her to pursue her music instead. She learned to write her own songs and even started her own record label, Dank Records. "If you are going to do it, do it right", states Anna. Anna self-released a 3-song EP electronically and songs such as 'Someday' and 'Back in The Day' were released on compilation CD's by Quickstar Productions, all the while working on putting together a full length album. Anne Zoe is proud to announce the release of her debut CD "Friction in Some Direction" on June 27, 2011. Her lead single, "Keep Breathing" "signifies not giving up on what you believe is right and true in your heart in whatever form it may be", states Anna. This song has a wonderful mixture of live instruments, electronic elements and a pure, crisp sound to it. Lyrically it is eloquent, and the arrangement of this song is extraordinary and unique. The injection of clever techniques makes Anna Zoe an artist to watch for. She brings freshness to alternative pop songs, which make her music different than the rest of the players in this industry. Abby Cubey

As they leave, they cheerily wave goodbye to their inspiring teacher – the young dancer, singer, and songwriter whom the world will soon know as fLO. As ever, the 21-year old dance teacher stays in her studio to work on new dance routines for the live shows and music videos that have so far helped make fLO one of the country’s hottest emerging pop artists. Club appearances in the Bay Area have seen fLO amass a loyal local fan base, while her online presence has enabled thousands of people across the world to hear her music, watch her videos, and follow her on social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter. Those numbers are sure to increase with the June release of her debut album The Exhibition, which launches on June 01st – the same day as her first big televised live performance on BET’s 106 & Park. Her artistic urge is evident in her songs, which result from the various experiences and emotions of her life. The sexy swagger of club smash Like Me is a riposte to a vindictive former friend, while the tender vulnerability of Platinum Love captures the feeling of falling in love. These songs also highlight the diversity of the fLO sound, which seems to straddle multiple genres, while remaining firmly in the pop arena. She attributes this to the variety of music she was exposed to by her English mother and a Senegalese father. "Not many young girls grew up listening to the likes of Youssou N'Dour," she laughs, "but having heard all this world music helps me bring a different slant to things and be open-minded about what I can create. I’m happy to be considered a pop singer, but really I would love to be genre-less." All the Seals lying at the Cove read
